Dear sudoku and puzzle friends,
we are only a few days away from the official conclusion of this year’s Sudoku GP, and the last round of the Puzzle GP will also end soon.
To make sure that all results are fair and the best contestants make the face-to-face playoffs in Beijing during October, we have proactively reached out to contestants in cases where we had concerns about their scores. So far, we have issued two 12-month bans and several warnings. National member organisations have been informed of these decisions.
We value, as you do, honest and fair solving. We also want to make sure that contestants who have improved their results through hard work and practice between rounds have their results fairly recorded, while removing results that have not been reached honestly.
Since this process takes time, and we don’t want to unfairly ban anyone, it will take a little while to finalise the results and standings after the last round of the Sudoku and Puzzle GPs.
Thank you for your understanding and patience. We look forward to everyone returning next year for another GP season.

First time here, just wondering how do I know I’m as good as others. I’ve been doing sudoku puzzles for many years but I never thought there was a tournament to play in.
Hi Marquisa Steadwell
Please excuse the late reply to your comment.
It is glad to hear that you are solving sudoku puzzles for many years.
There are various websites for solving logic puzzles (including sudoku) with time measurement and to be able to compare with others. The sudoku and puzzle Grand Prix is great to compare against the best solvers of the world. Sometimes it can also be a bit frustrating to see how many are better 😅. Many of the solvers there participated even at the world championships (also the world champions of the last years participate). The Grand Prix rounds usually take place from January until August. Some other websites are listed at https://worldpuzzle.org/links.
how do i register?
