The World Sudoku Championship returned to India for the third time – and brought success to the Chinese team!
Among 153 competitors, Ming Letian of China took the top spot, with his compatriot Hu Yuxuan in second. Japan’s Kota Morinishi finished third, while defending champion Tantan Dai secured fourth place. In the team competition, China won, followed by the USA – which edged out the unofficial UN team (Canada & Czechia) by just a single point – and Japan in third.
A big thank you to the organizers and volunteers for executing such a seamless championship. We’re excited for the second half of the event, which will be packed with puzzles!
You can find the full results on the championship website.
