World Junior Sudoku Championships 2025

Dear members, let us invite you to the 3rd World Junior Sudoku Championships, which will take place this August in China, near Beijing. Registration is open, you can sign up now. Age Categories

  • U08: Born after 1 January 2017
  • U10: Born after 1 January 2015
  • U12: Born after 1 January 2013
  • U15: Born after 1 January 2010
  • U21: Born between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2009

Individual competition: Each participating country has 3 official A players in each age group. A maximum of 15 official A players can participate in the official ranking; other players are non-official players not counted in the official ranking. 

Team competition: Each country can form an A team of 3 players (these 3 players need to be from different age groups), counted in the official ranking; other players who can form B Team, C Team or UN will not be counted in the official ranking.

Participation Fees

Team A players + captain and WPF Personal Members: Double room: ¥ 4050 /per; Sigle room: ¥ 5050 /per (circa 500 or 620 EUR)

Team B/C players and guests: Double room: ¥ 4900 /per; Sigle room: ¥ 5900 /per (circa 600 or 725 EUR)

The above fees include: accommodation, meals (dinner on the first day to breakfast on the fifth day), drinking water, Wi-Fi, all competition materials, medals, certificates, trophies, and transfer service fees to and from the hotel and Beijing Capital International Airport.

1. Free tour:

Shougang Park: Shougang Park Cultural and Creative Park is one of the important venues for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Shougang Park retains a large number of industrial heritages, such as blast furnaces, cooling towers and railways, while incorporating modern design elements to form a unique landscape. The park is divided into two parts, north and south. The north is mainly for office and leisure entertainment, while the south is where the Winter Olympics venues are located. The main attractions are: three blast furnaces, the ski jump (the venue for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics is the world’s first permanent urban ski jump venue).

Moshikou Historical and Cultural District: Moshikou Historical and Cultural District is located in Shijingshan District, Beijing. Visitors can appreciate the exquisite craftsmanship of the Eight Wonders of Yanjing in Cheng’en Temple, the artistic charm of the peerless murals in Fahai Temple, the historical echo of the exquisite stone carvings in Tian Yi’s tomb, and the natural scratches in the Glacier Museum.
