Dear all,

in this year the 24H Championship in Hungary will be held 24-26 November, 2006.
more information will be posted here, later.

the place of the 7th 24HPC is Budapest, Hotel Benta*** (http://www.bentahotel.hu), the date is 24-26 November, 2006.

If you're planning to make a puzzle-set for the event, please contact Laszlo Osvalt (laszlo.osvalt@freemail.hu).

The registration fee (including hotel, meals, soft drinks, coffee) will be 150 euros/3 days/person, and for those who are making puzzles just 120 euros.

Schedule of the 7th 24HPC

24 november, Friday:
arriving all day (free transfer from the airport and railway stations to the hotel)
questioning time and dinner in the evening (at the hotel)

25 november, Saturday
breakfast
11.00- puzzling (14 times 100 minutes part, 10-20 minutes break)
dinner and coffee will be served during the breaks

26 november, Sunday
-11.00 fininsh the puzzling
12.00 Prize giving ceremony
12.30-13.30 lunch
departure all day (free transport to the airport and the railway stations)

The cost is 150 euros (double room), 170 euros (single room), if you're making a puzzle part the cost is 120 euros/140 euros.
Please register as soon as possible, if you don't want to miss this uniqe event.

until now the following puzzlers registered for the event:

Croatia: Goran Vodopija, Dalibor Grðan, Alfredo Ivankov, Vesna Tomulic, Stjepan Varaždinac, Luka Pavicic, Zrinka Kokot.
Czech Republic: Jana Tylová, Jirí Hrdina, Zdenek Vodicka.
Germany: Michael Ley.
Italy: Alberto Fabris.
Poland: Michal Borny, Tomasz Krajewski, Marcin Krasuski.
Romania: Alexandru Szoke, Hunor Daday.
Slovakia: Michal Hudak, Peter Hudak, Stefan Gaspar.
Turkey: Zafer Say, Ferhat Çalapkulu, Mehmet Murat Sevim, Husnu Ece.

The deadline for enter your registration is 15th November, 2006. After this time I can not warrant to accept your registration.

Dear puzzle-friends,

the updated version of the instruction booklet (with all the 14 parts) will be available until Monday, 12:00 GMT.
We'll held a lot between the participaters, so everyone will know which part won't be solved by himself - it will be published here on Monday as well.

If you have any question, do not hesitate to ask smiling smiley

Hereby I kindly ask everyone to send me the travelling information in e-mail, in order to organise the (free) transport from and back to the airport/railway stations.

Dear puzzle-friends,

las weekend we held our yearly marathon championship, and because Ulrich Voigt didn't take part, after a exciting competition we have a new champion: Goran Vodopija from Croatia!

I'm happy to announce that we will held our uniqe event in this year again.
The date 17-18 November, 2007 - Budapest

You can already enter for the championship on my e-mail address.
The puzzle master will be Zoltan Nemeth, so if you want to make a puzzle-set for this event, you should contact him directly.

Confirmed.

A mass email notifying all prospective puzzle authors will be sent out shortly. As usual, we need 14 quality puzzle sets, so if you feel like contributing, you can already start thinking about the puzzles. Details soon.

See my comments in the other thread too, the most important bit: we now have enough puzzle authors for this event, so if you have not yet contacted me about sending yours, please save them for next year.
