13th World Puzzle Championship, Croatia

The 13th WPC took place October 12 - 17 in Opatija, Croatia. It was organized by the Croatian Puzzle Federation, supported by puzzle magazine Feniks. To be more specific: the persons we thank a wonderful WPC to are Pero Galogaza, Valter Kvalic and their staff.

Like the 1997 WPF in Koprivnica, Croatia, under the directions of Pero Galogaza, this one was very well organized. Great puzzles, accommodations, food et cetera. Pero and Valter even managed to appear completely relaxed and easy to approach during the entire week.

Individual winner was — like in 2002 — Niels Roest from the Netherlands. Second was 2003 champion Ulrich Voigt from Germany. Number 3, Roger Barkan from the USA, also won a first prize as member of the victorious team USA.

On these pages you will find information on the WPC, and all results. We hope to add soon all team photos and a selection of the puzzles.
